Healthy Mayonnaise – Recommended by Sharon’s Personal Training

Make it yourself! It’s easy and tastes better than anything you’d buy in the store. Here’s the recipe:


1 cup oil (regular olive oil, not extra-virgin; avocado oil or macadamia oil

2 egg yolks or 1 whole egg (I used one whole egg to get all the protein and nutrients)

1 tbsp lemon juice or apple cider vinegar

add himalayan crystal salt or celtic sea salt to taste


Put the egg yolk (or whole egg), lemon juice (or apple cider vinegar), and salt in a blender. Mix.

Keep the blender on and pour the oil into the blender very slowly. The oil should thicken with the egg as you pour the oil.

Store your mayo in the fridge for up to 5 to 7 days.
